EveryDrop Filter A (EDRARXD1) — Genuine OEM Replacement

The EDRARXD1 is the genuine OEM EveryDrop Filter A cartridge for select Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana and JennAir refrigerators. It is NSF certified and built to the original factory specification, so it seats and seals exactly as the filter it replaces.

• NSF certified to reduce contaminants including lead, chlorine taste, asbestos and odor
• Filter life: about 6 months or 200–250 gallons, whichever comes first
• Twist-and-lock installation — no tools, changes in minutes
• Price: $39.99 (1-pack) to $153.99 (multi-pack), free US shipping on every order, 30-day free returns

Is Filter A the one your fridge takes?

Check the label on your old cartridge before ordering: if it says Filter A or EDRARXD1, this is your filter. Filter A is NOT interchangeable with Filter 1 (EDR1RXD1) or Filter 5 (EDR5RXD1) — the cartridges are different shapes and will not lock into each other’s housings. If your old filter carries a different number, contact us before ordering and we will confirm the right model.

How to change it

1. Locate the old cartridge and twist it to release it from its housing.
2. Remove the protective cover from the new EDRARXD1.
3. Insert the new cartridge and twist until it locks firmly in place.
4. Run the dispenser for a few minutes to flush air and loose carbon, and discard the first batch of ice.
5. Reset the filter indicator on your fridge’s control panel, and note the change date — the next change is due in about 6 months.
