Frigidaire Genuine FPPWFU01 Refrigerator Water Filter Replacement Pack (PWF-1)

Protect your household with the original Frigidaire FPPWFU01 water filter. This PurePour PWF-1 filter is built exactly by the factory to fit into your modern Frigidaire refrigerator system. It works continuously to keep your drinking water sweet, your ice crisp, and every glass entirely clear by trapping harmful microscopic impurities.

Why Choose the Genuine FPPWFU01 Filter?

• Advanced Carbon Block Technology: The FPPWFU01 filter deeply purifies your home water supply using highly porous activated carbon treated at 1000°C. It traps and removes 99% of contaminants, including dangerous cysts, turbidity, and mitti/sediments, while eliminating the strong chemical taste and smoky odor of chlorine.

• Exact Factory Fit and Zero Leaks: Avoid the high risk of cheap aftermarket brands. Lower-grade knock-offs can easily warp, split, or cause sudden leaks that ruin your kitchen floors. This genuine OEM part snaps tightly and safely into place.

• Healthy Minerals and Fresh Taste: While it removes toxic contaminants and dirty sediments, it keeps the good things intact. You get fresh, crisp drinking water that tastes exactly like premium bottled water right from your appliance door.

• Simple Push-to-Lock Installation: Changing this filter is simple and takes less than two minutes. You do not need any mechanical tools or professional help. Just push to release the old filter, and slide the new one in until it clicks securely.

How to Install

How to Install the FPPWFU01 / PWF-1 Filter:

It is not necessary to turn the water supply off to change the filter. Be ready to wipe up any small amounts of water released during the filter replacement.

1. Turn off the ice maker.

2. Remove the old filter by pushing firmly on the end/face of the cartridge until it releases.

3. Slide the old water filter cartridge straight out of the housing and discard it.

4. Unpackage the new filter cartridge. Using the alignment guide, slide it gently into the filter housing until it stops against the snap-in connector.

5. Push firmly until the cartridge snaps into place (you will hear a distinct “click” as it engages).

6. Press a drinking glass against the water dispenser for about 3-4 minutes (approximately 1.5 gallons) to flush the system and purge trapped air. Note: Sputtering and air spurts during flushing are completely normal.

7. Turn on the ice maker.

8. Press and hold the Water Filter reset button on the control panel for 3 seconds. The status display will change from red to green.
